Lynn Taylor is a native Texas, born in Lubbock in 1947. Raised during the early days of Rock & Roll in the early 1950's, Lynn traveled locally to radio stations plugging records with his sister Kay who was friends with the late Buddy Holly and later engaged to singer/song writer Mac Davis..

With Lubbock in their rear view mirror, Lynn's family moved to Dallas in 1956 where he graduated high school at Thomas Jefferson and attended North Texas State University in Denton majoring in Marketing and Psychology.

After serving his country during Viet Nam era, Lynn received his real estate license in Dallas in 1972. He cut his real estate teeth on income properties in Dallas and later joined builder/Realtor, Nash Phillips-Copus.

Lynn started investing in rental properties in 1972 and having managed several real estate companies, decided in 1986 to start up his own company. Thus, Republic of Texas Real Estate was born. Republic of Texas specializes in residential and income producing investment properties. Lynn has closed over 1,500 real estate transactions ($150,000,000).

Lynn has experienced and survived many real estate cycles. His experience of 33 years is passed on to his partners Judi Taylor and Tim Taylor.With their combined experience and knowledge Republic of Texas has a huge arsenal of creative marketing ideas to assist buyers and sellers in obtaining their real estate goals.
